🗺️ Where I’m from
I would have to be non-specific and say the Earth 🌎. As I have lived on 4 continents have residency rights in 4 countries, pay taxes in 3 and have visited over 60. My journey on this earth spans India🇮🇳 the Emerald Isles🇮🇪, Ol’ Blighty🇬🇧, US of A🇺🇸, Oz🇦🇺, Deutschland🇩🇪, and Portugal🇵🇹.
💼 Where I’ve worked
I studied Accounting, Finance and Economics at University but hated it 🤮. I never balanced a balance sheet in my life!
Luckily I got into technology consulting and joined Accenture as my first job out of university. I did all sorts of tech work from writing tests, to developing back-end services, to finally working with customers to gather requirements and write requirements documents. This when I knew that Product Management was the career for me.
I joined Microsoft as a Program Manager in 2003 and worked on SQL Server and Xbox Live over my 8 year tenure there. Met some great people and worked on some cutting edge exciting software and services that made people's lives better.
I then moved to Google where I worked for almost 10 years on launching and landing Google Drive and then on helping billions of people from all over the world get from A to B sustainably using Google Maps.
I'm now at Coda working on building the one doc for teams.
